ANDOVER is gearing up for a gold-standard celebration of sport, with the return of the annual 'Step into Summer' event.
Scheduled for Saturday, July 27, on the high street, the free event is organised by Test Valley Borough Council and InAndover from Andover BID.
It will mark the start of the summer holidays by offering an assortment of sports-themed activities and entertainment.
Sports clubs will be providing a variety of engagements for residents to try, forming a sporting circuit across the high street.

Chapel Arts Studio (CAS) will also run a workshop where people of all ages can hand-print sports-themed t-shirts.
Children will have the fun opportunity to decorate wooden medals to wear throughout the day.
It will be a unique opportunity for residents to pose alongside an authentic piece of sports history.
Visitors should be alert for the comical 'Miss Timed' and 'Miss Judged', sports-day adjudicators ensuring the proceedings are orderly with their commentary.
Within the Chantry Centre, a special Community Table Tennis arrangement will welcome visitors and shoppers.
Post-event, the centre plans to keep the table tennis open every day from 10.00am to 5.00pm and on Sundays from 10.00am to 4.00pm until August 31.
