MAGISTRATES have fined a Kings Somborne man hundreds for being in charge of a vehicle while over the drug limit.
Ewan McClenaghan, of Romsey Road, was stopped at the King George V Sports Field Pavilion, Martyr Worthy, near Winchester on January 6.
He had 3.5 ug/L of cannabis in his blood – the legal limit is two.

At Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court on July 9, the 21-year-old pleaded guilty to a charge of being in charge of a motor vehicle with proportion of specified controlled drug above specified limit.
McClenaghan was fined £296 and had his driving licence endorsed with 10 penalty points.
He must also pay £85 court costs and a £118 surcharge fee.
