A NEW exhibition from an ex-USA military man and PTSD sufferer has opened in Andover – raising money for charity.
Unity Art Studio is presenting the work of acclaimed artist Chris KB, in the debut Standing Face to Face show.
The display was launched on Thursday, July 11, to an audience of more than 30 people, some travelling more than two hours to see and support the artist, plus raise funds for the auto-immune rare liver disease charity - The PBC Foundation.
Chris was overwhelmed with the show of support, outpour of love and the overall appreciation for his work.

One buyer said: "I can't begin to describe how much this piece talks to me, it has an air of mystery to it and I am transfixed by their eyes. I am going to rename him, but I am so taken with him. I literally took him off the wall before anyone else grabbed him!"
This act of desperation did cause a flurry of other buyers to do the same and at times it was hard to keep up with the crowd's eagerness to acquire a piece of CKB's original artwork
Chris said: "I can't believe how many people have gotten behind me to show their support. The sales taken so far have blown me away and only makes me more keen to go on to do other charity work and progress further in this field. The total raised so far is over £500 and we are still counting.

“I really want to say a big thank you. I am so incredibly humbled and grateful for all who came, bought or not bought, giving up your time, taking questions, compliments, hugs and smiles - it was all so precious."
The sale will be open until Thursday, August 1. All profits will go to the PBC Foundation.
