MAGISTRATES have issued a curfew for an East Cholderton man who sent an offensive message.
Hawre Mostafa, of Elmstead Park, sent the message on February 25, 2023, that was ‘grossly offensive or of an indecent, obscene or menacing character’.
At Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court on July 11, the 39-year-old was sentenced after he changed his plea to guilty at an earlier hearing.
Mostafa was given a three-month curfew and is prohibited from contacting the victim for 18 months. He must also complete up to 20 rehabilitation days.
Magistrates also ordered him to pay £500 court costs.
