STUDENTS from John Hanson Community School celebrated their prom with an Oscars-themed evening.
On Friday, June 28, school staff were joined at Norton Park Hotel by Year 11 students, to celebrate the end of an amazing five years of secondary education with their prom.
They celebrated an Oscar’s themed evening, complete with awards and full-size cardboard cut-outs of their favourite movie stars.
Headteacher Russell Stevens said: "It was a very proud moment for me and my staff to see them exit their cars in their finery and share the culmination of five years hard work, focus and dedication.
"We wish them all every success in the next stage of the educational journey and beyond."
