AN ANDOVER man has been disqualified from driving for six months after being caught speeding in Hook.
Kolyo Kolev, of Weyhill Road, drove a Renault on the A30, London Road, at a speed of 46 miles per hour on Monday, June 5, exceeding the 40 miles per hour speed limit.
During a hearing held at Southampton Magistrates' Court on July 18, Kolev pleaded guilty to the offence.
Magistrates ordered the 28-year-old to pay a £153 fine and gave him three penalty points, resulting in a disqualification from driving for six months.
He must pay the court-ordered costs of £110 and a surcharge fee of £61.
