WELLINGTON Academy saw a lot of activity during its second 24-hour triathlon.
Students and staff biked, rowed, and ran, feeling positive and supported by an enthusiastic audience.
This year, there was noticeably more excitement than last year's event. After the physical challenges, many athletes enjoyed the fun event called WellyFest. There were food, games, and energetic bouncing castles at this celebration.

As the day turned into evening, the atmosphere became more peaceful, highlighting the school's talent. To finish off the day, students gave music performances, filling the academy with beautiful singing and instrument playing.
Richard Woodley, head of PE, said: "The staff and students worked incredibly hard in pulling together and showed great teamwork in cheering one another on all the way up until the end.
"Even with students beginning to flag around 2am, they still managed to yield the strength to get back onto the equipment, it takes great strength. I am incredibly grateful to all the staff and students for making the 24hour triathlon such an incredible experience."
