AN ANDOVER choir has raised hundreds for charity through its summer concert.
The Spotlight Singers Community Choir held the concert in the Arena Café at The Lights on Monday, July 22.
During the concert, the choir celebrated 11 years under the leadership of Ysanne Bonner.
Ysanne said: "The event was met with resounding applause and as the choir took their final bow, there was a sense of pride and accomplishment that radiated from each member.
"The choir's summer concert was undeniably a grand success and in a retiring collection, over £200 was raised for the local Andover Stroke Charity."

The audience also got involved in the performance during the final encore of Summer Holiday.
Ysanne added: "The Spotlight Singers Community Choir's summer concert was a resounding success that showcased the power of music to unite, inspire, and create lasting memories.
"The concert served as a reminder of the incredible impact that community-driven artistic endeavours can have on people's lives, leaving the audience eagerly awaiting their next performance."
The choir always welcomes new members and its new term starts on Monday, September 9 at The Lights from 1.30pm to 3pm, in preparation for their Christmas concert on the provisional date of Monday, December 9.
