A THREE-bedroom house in Ludgershall has sold in auction for £139,000 following a bidding war.
The end-terrace freehold property at 2 Bell Street, which went for £19,000 more than the guide price, was among 165 lots listed across southern England by Clive Emson Auctioneers.
Mike Marchant, a senior auction appraiser in Hampshire, said: “There was keen interest in the house, with 20 bids made and the final one of them coming in at £139,000, which was £19,000 above the guide price.

“As previously mentioned, the property requires a programme of upgrading and refurbishment works.”
Also sold were three separate freehold forecourt sites at Pilgrims Way, Andover, with each lot selling for £2,000 each, at the guide price, and giving access to garage blocks.
They are at Block 5Q, Block 4R and Block 4C.
In recent previous auctions by Clive Emson Auctioneers, 64 freehold lock-up garages at Pilgrims Way sold for a total of £377,000.
