ANDOVER residents are being invited to take part in special workshops this summer, where they can tell their stories.

Test Valley Borough Council has organised ‘Art of Belonging’ workshops to give people the opportunity to share stories of their journey and experiences of Andover through drawing, writing and printing.

These free workshops are open to all, and participants will work together to create banners that will be displayed at the World Street Party, taking place on Monday, August 26.

People are invited to bring artefacts, fabric, music and objects that tell of their heritage, journey to or experiences of Andover.

The first workshop is taking place on Saturday, August 3 from 12noon to 4pm at CAS Community, 65 High Street.

The second will be held on Friday, August 9, on the high street as part of Four Fun Fridays.
