IT’S not every day that an American singer-songwriter visits a local UK radio station but that’s exactly what happened at a Ludgershall station.
Castledown FM recently welcomed musician Rachael Sage, from New York, to take part in the station’s Live Lounge and played a two hour set on presenter Chris Jackson’s 80s show.

Rachael has a strong back catalogue of music from 15 studio albums and came over on a quick visit from New York to play a few dates before embarking on a tour later in September and supporting Will Young and 80s band Hue and Cry.
Chris said: “Rachael is a colourful character and a multi-talented artist that has such a unique voice and personality that is also shown in her art work as she is a painter too and designs her album covers artwork with an array of styles.”
The listeners were treated to songs from her latest albums and her very first written in the 80s.
