AN ANDOVER man who stole from a Co-op store and then failed to surrender to custody has been fined.
George Carr, 68, of New Street, stole a laundry gel to the value of £60 from Co-op on January 23.

He then failed to surrender to custody at the appointed time given under bail without reasonable cause on April 9.
He was fined £120 for the theft and £40 for failing to surrender.
Carr should also pay £64 surcharge and £51.50 compensation to Co-op.
