A DRUG driver has been banned from driving for 12 months after he was caught over the limit on the M3.
Hawre Mostafa, 39, of Wiremead Lane, East Cholderton, pleaded guilty to driving a Vauxhall Zafira on the M3 in Hook on December 3.
The proportion of Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) in his blood exceeded the specified limit. He had 6.4mg/L of drug, while the legal limit is 2mg/L.
Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court disqualified Mostafa from driving for 12 months. He should also pay £200 fine and £85 costs.
