AWARD-winning comedian Russell Hicks is to debut his anarchic and impromptu style of stand-up in a 36-date UK tour called Happy to Be Here.
The tour, which will arrive at Andover's The Lights on Friday, October 18, promises keen insights on British life, irreverent American perspectives, and spontaneous improvisations.
With TV appearances, including ITV's Stand Up Sketch Show, Channel 4’s comedy show Captive Audience, and hosting Prime Video's Lovestruck High, Hicks is no stranger to captivating audiences.
He now boasts more than 250,000 followers and countless views across diverse digital platforms.
For this tour, Hicks will be partnering with Bound & Gagged.
Famed England cricket captain David Gower once quipped: "That was ******* awesome. How am I supposed to follow that?" after Hicks' stand-up gig.
Comedy lovers can book their tickets at russellhicks.co.uk/tour.
Hicks said: "Looking back at America from outside the country is like seeing a photo of yourself from 15 years ago, with a terrible haircut. You think, how did I ever think that was normal?
"I always talk about whatever’s going on. What’s happening in the room, in the audience, in the world. There’s no way I’m not gonna have to let loose and joke about what’s happening in the states right now."
