ANDOVER Mini-Con will be returning next month.

The event was first held in November last year and was deemed a big success.

This year, it will be on Sunday, September 8, at The Lights.

As well as the usual guests, comics and photo props, there will be a new retro gaming area, with classic games and consoles, all free to play.

Guests this year include actor Brian Wheeler, who has been in Star Wars and Harry Potter, and actor Bern Collaço, who has featured in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Organises have also this year added a separate Mini Cosplayers Competition.

It is free to enter, and you can register on the day when you arrive.

Netty, who runs the Andover Cosplay Club, will be the guest Judge.

Last year was a sell out so you must buy a ticket beforehand.

Entry for pre-booked tickets is from 10am, for everyone else it is 10.30am. It ends at 4.30pm.

You must book a ticket for all attendees, including under three's.
