Test Valley's motorists will have 10 road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

But the news isn't too bad, with all of them only expected to cause slight delays, of under 10 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

• A34, from 8pm August 9 to 6am September 4, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M3 southbound to A303 westbound, link road and lane closures for barrier work.

And a further nine closures will begin over the next two weeks:

• M27, from 8pm August 30 to 6am August 31, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M27 eastbound, junction 2 to junction 3, Lane closures for resurfacing work.

• A303, from 9pm August 30 to 6am September 6, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 northbound, Bullington, slip road and lane closures for resurfacing work.

• A36, from 8pm September 1 to 6.30am September 2, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 West Wellow, traffic lights for Scottish and Southern Power Distribution.

• A34, from 8pm September 2 to 6am September 3, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 northbound, Bullington, slip road and lane closures for maintenance work.

• A303, from 8.30pm September 2 to 6am September 3, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 westbound, Norton Farm to Bullington, Lane closures for maintenance work.

• M3, from 8pm September 5 to 6am September 7, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M3 both directions, junction 9, slip road and lane closures for maintenance work.

• M27, from 8pm September 5 to 6am September 14, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M27 both directions, junction 2 to junction 3, Lane closures for barrier work.

• A34, from 8pm September 9 to 6am September 14, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 both directions Sutton Scotney Services, Services and lane closures for inspection work.

• A303, from 8pm September 9 to 6am September 11, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 both directions Amesbury to Parkhouse, lane closure for horticultural works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
