AN ANDOVER care home was visited by a bike group fulfilling the wish of one resident. 

Rothsay Grange care home, in Weyhill Road, enjoyed a visit from The Bike Night at King's Somborne, organised by activities team member, Irene, to fulfil resident Mike's love of bikes.

The bike group, known for their charitable contributions, mingled with staff, residents and their families.

During the visit, sausage and bacon rolls with chips were served.

Mike said: "I thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon surrounded by lots of great people and amazing bikes, its been the best day ever.

"It was so kind of The Bike Night at King's Somborne to visit us."

The general manager at the home, Seva Hashimova, said: "Staff at Rothsay Grange are dedicated to making sure that the home is a hub of the local community, and this event, along with all their hard work, has definitely paid off.

"It was wonderful to see the residents' faces light up when they saw the bikes and hear them spontaneously clapping and cheering.

"We’ve all had a lovely day."
