A NEW dessert shop, Frizzles, has opened its doors in Andover, offering a unique blend of treats and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
The shop, owned by Karren and her husband Meshach Valentine, officially opened on Tuesday, August 27, and is already making a sweet impact.
The Valentines, a military family, have designed the space to maximise natural light, creating a cosy yet open environment where families can relax and enjoy their time together.

"We just wanted to create a welcoming feeling," Karren said.
The shop is a true family-run business, with Karren and Meshach handling all aspects of the operation.
Meshach, a staff sergeant in the Army, has brought his military precision to the venture, while Karren manages the day-to-day operations.
Their two daughters, Amiyah and Akaleh, aged 10 and seven, also played a big part in getting the shop ready for opening, spending their summer holiday cleaning and decorating the space.
Frizzles offers a variety of desserts, with a unique twist that sets it apart from other dessert shops.
It offers Caribbean-inspired codfish balls, which have received rave reviews from customers.
Also on its menu are churros, which have quickly become a customer favourite.
For those looking for a healthier option, the shop serves frozen yogurt, known as Froyo, with 21 different toppings to choose from.
"People are quite happy that our prices are affordable," Karren said.
Although the Valentines are new to the business world, they are excited about the future of Frizzles.
Karren hinted at plans to expand the menu to include dishes inspired by different cultures, based on customer feedback.
"People can drop by and say they've been on holiday and really enjoyed something, and we can start to try and incorporate that as well," Karren added.

The couple have lived in several locations due to Meshach's military postings, but they are currently based in Bovington and plan to move back to Ludgershall soon.
The shop was opened by borough councillors Iris Andersen and Debbie Cattell.
"It's really nice to have a new business opening in Andover in the Chantry Centre," said Cllr Andersen.
"I wish then all the very best I really enjoyed having the frozen yogurt with fresh fruit."
