ANDOVER celebrated its culture and diversity with a new event - the World Street Party - on Bank Holiday Monday.
The party was an opportunity for residents from local communities and backgrounds to come together and showcase different cultures.
On the day, visitors watched some colourful performances from groups including African performers, Bollywood dancers and Morris dancers. Members of the Ukrainian community marked Ukrainian Independence Day, which took place a few days before the event on August 24, with some traditional performances and talks.
There were also family-friendly workshops to get involved in, such as drumming and dancing and creative sessions and interactive storytelling.
The event was developed in partnership with Test Valley Borough Council, InAndover from Andover BID, Test Valley Arts Foundation, Hampshire County Council and Chapel Arts Studios.
