Vigo Park was turned into a vibrant Caribbean wonderland on Saturday, August 31 as Jerk Jam came to Andover for the first time.
The free-to-attend event, supported by the Andover Town Council, attracted thousands of residents, who enjoyed a day packed with music, delicious food and amazing performances.
The festival, arranged by Illusion Events and Jerk Jam Events was the product of a joint venture which saw part-funding from the town council.
The festival featured a diverse line-up of music acts, stilt walkers, fire performers, and dedicated areas for young children.

The presence of a welfare officer and a streamlined entry system ensured a safe and enjoyable experience for all.
Austin Thompson, the director of Jerk Jam Events that organises the big Southampton festival, said it was a privilege to bring his production to Andover.
"Jerk Jam is inclusive to everybody. Andover has a strong community and it was amazing to see everyone enjoying the event. Hosting a mini festival in Andover is part of our desire to bring Jerk Jam to different cities. Our main aim was to bring the community together, while introducing a taste and flavour of what we do in Southampton."
Will Constance, representing Illusion Events, said the festival was "extremely successful".
"The entertainments and performances were amazing and overall the event was well taken," he said.
"We received so many positive reviews. We even managed to turn some negative feedback into positive by working on them. Overall, everyone said it was an excellent event.
"My big thanks go to Andover Town Council and special mention to town clerk Gail Foster for supporting us. Huge thanks to Andover Town mayor Heather Neate for allowing us to organise the event.

"According to our click in click out counter, which means it is 100 per cent accurate, there were approximately 3,700 people who came to the event. There were zero major incidents. The weather was also supportive as it was really hot on either side of the festival. We had some high wind, but it didn't affect the event. Overall, it was a major success."
Mr Constance also said the success of the event means Jerk Jam will be coming back to Andover next summer.
