Goodworth Clatford Village Fete and Flower Show was a roaring success with hundreds joining in the fun. 

Businesses, including The Clatford Arms, Fat Sam’s Ice Cream, Ethel’s Pies and Goodworth Clatford Tennis Club, offered delightful food and fun activities were lined up for attendees.

In addition to catching up with friends and family, the crowd enjoyed a fun dog show, coconut shy, and the captivating flower show.

Multiple stalls provided a platform for charities and community projects to raise funds.

The causes included Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance, Guide Dogs for the Blind and The Three Bees Project.

St Peter’s Church, the Women's Institute, the Tennis Club, and small pop-up shops also added to the community spirit.

The Mayor of Test Valley, Cllr Ian Jeffrey with his wife, Maura, was also in attendance and handed over the cups and shields to the winners of the flower show.

Resident Ken Brown stood out, winning The Garden Society Cup, The Jim Fleet Cup, and The John Beaven Cup.

The event also acknowledged those who significantly contributed to the village, awarding Will Walker the Max Barnikel Jubilee Cup.

The event raised more than £12,000 for various groups.
