Locals can look forward to a festive apple gala at Houghton Lodge Gardens.
The Apple Day festivities, known for its mix of education, entertainment and tradition, return for another year.
The garden event is due to take place on Saturday, September 29 from 11am to 4pm at Houghton Lodge, near Stockbridge.
The garden hosts more than 32 apple tree varieties, including ancient species not found in common stores, like world-record espaliered pear tree 'Beurre Diel'.

Visitors can gain insight about apple tree cultivation, pruning, and identification from renowned horticulturist, Chris Bird of Sparsholt College and his team.
The event also provides an opportunity for individuals to bring in their mystery garden apples for expert analysis.
Participants can taste the different varieties and join in a traditional wassail ceremony, toasting the trees for future fruitful harvests.
For the young attendees, a Golden Apple trail is set up in the gardens. Clues are hidden within the gardens to guide kids to the elusive Golden Apple, and those who find it can make a wish.
The festive event also boasts the cultural tales by Hampshire's own storyteller, Michael O'Leary.
Known for his entertaining storytelling, Michael will share folk tales from his experiences in Hampshire and Sussex.
The event will also feature folk dances by the Red Stags Morris dancers dressed in their colourful costumes.
The Glass House tearoom will satisfy the craving for something sweet with its array of apple-infused delights, complemented by Houghton Lodge's own apple juice.
