ITV's Tour de France commentator Ned Boulting brings his show to Andover.

Ned Boulting, the voice of cycling, will be bringing his sports knowledge and cycling acumen to the Andover stage this October.

ITV's award-winning sports journalist, television presenter, and author, Mr Boulting is about to embark on a 20-date UK tour, kicking off with a warm-up show in Andover, where he was born.

The show is inspired by the events of the 1923 Tour de France, a key milestone in the history of the race.

During the pandemic, he won an auction for a piece of 35mm film from the 1923 Tour de France.

This sparked months of research and writing for his book, 1923: The Mystery of Lot 212 and a Tour de France Obsession.

The research and work behind his book have inspired him to take his story to the stage.

The show, which is expected to appeal to cycling enthusiasts, will feature tales from famous cyclists like Cavendish and Pogačar with historical events from 1923.

Mr Boulting's unique storytelling style, honed from his global commentary experiences, promises an engaging evening.

The show will take place on Wednesday, October 16, at 7.30pm at The Lights in the auditorium.
