Andover-based Twinings has launched a new range of ready-to-drink sparkling tea after years of research and development.
The Twinings Sparkling Tea, which is fortified with vitamins and minerals, is aimed at consumers looking for an afternoon treat that is both enjoyable and beneficial for wellbeing.
The drink was developed by Twinings' master blenders and expert herbalists, and is a combination of tea, botanicals, sparkling water, and fruit juice.
The new drink is available in three flavours, each with unique properties to promote wellbeing.

It is fortified with zinc and vitamins C and D to support the immune system.
The 'Refresh' flavour is a mix of juicy raspberry lemonade with hibiscus, infused with Chinese white tea leaves.
It is fortified with magnesium, niacin, and vitamin C to lift mind and spirit.
The 'Boost' flavour is a blend of zingy lemon with ginger and lemon balm, infused with Indian black tea leaves.
It is fortified with vitamins B6, B12, and C to energise the day.
The sparkling teas are free of artificial sweeteners or colours, and each can contains less than 50 calories.

Consumer testing revealed that nine out of 10 who sampled the drink said they would recommend it to a friend, stating that it exceeded their expectations.

Twinings Sparkling Tea is available for purchase from Amazon, Holland & Barrett, Twinings.co.uk, and select Waitrose and Sainsbury’s stores, with a recommended retail price of £1.89 per can.
