A MAN has been found guilty of multiple counts of sexual assault but has been cleared of indecent exposure.
Jason Colbourne, 55, formerly of Easton, stood trial after pleading not guilty to 11 sexual assault charges, as well as two counts of indecent exposure between April and October last year.
The trial, which is being presided over by the Recorder of Winchester Judge Angela Morris, began on Tuesday, September 3.
The jury, who were sent out on Thursday, September 12, took 14 hours and 51 minutes to reach a verdict.
On Monday, September 16, the jury found him guilty of eight counts of sexual assault in relation to seven victims
Colbourne was found not guilty of two counts of indecent exposure. He was also found not guilty of three counts of sexual assault.
After the verdict was delivered, the 55-year-old, dressed in a smart suit, was expressionless.
Colbourne, of Wessex Lane, Swaythling, Southampton, remains on conditional bail.
Colbourne was previously the director of two businesses registered with Companies House as being in Fullerton, near Andover - Painters Direct Limited and Valentino's Limited. The companies were dissolved in 2011 and 2012, respectively.
He will be sentenced at Winchester Crown Court on November 15.
