Coco Cosmetics, a newly established beauty business in Andover, has been awarded a £1,200 independent retailer grant from Test Valley Borough Council.

The business, founded by Megan Grace and Danielle Marriner, opened its doors on London Street in February 2024.

Coco Cosmetics offers a wide range of services, including tanning, semi-permanent make-up, aesthetic treatments, lashes massage, facials & waxing.

The business aims to provide high-quality aesthetic and beauty services to both men and women in the community.

Megan said: “The grant will help us create a welcoming space for our clients and introduce new beauty treatments to the area.”

St Mary’s ward councillor, Iris Andersen, said: “It’s fantastic to see new businesses like Coco Cosmetics opening in Andover. I wish Megan and Danielle all the best with their new venture.”

Cllr Jan Budzynski, also representing St Mary’s ward, added: “The grants we offer to new businesses help revitalise the town centre and demonstrate our support for local entrepreneurs.”

Before opening their physical premises, Megan and Danielle successfully ran aesthetic and beauty businesses from a home-based salon.

Recipients of the £1,200 grant receive £600 after three months of trading and a further £600 six months later.
