A MAN has been charged after items worth more than £23,000 were stolen from stores across Hampshire, including Andover.
Ionel Elvis Dulea, 47, of Stephenson Street, Gateshead, has been charged with seven counts of theft from a shop and one count of attempted theft.
Officers received reports that skincare products worth £2,099.29 were stolen from Boots in Andover on August 6. From the same store, skincare and cosmetic products worth £3,898 were stolen on June 10.

There was also an attempted theft of cosmetic products worth £815.54 from Boots in Andover on March 1.
In Aldershot, skincare products worth £1,242.34 were stolen from Boots on August 10.
Skincare products worth £2,673.62 were stolen from the same store on August 6.
Products worth £10,790 including skincare products and perfume bottles were stolen from Boots in Fareham on July 20. Items worth £1,795.28 were stolen from the same shop on June 16.
Cosmetic products were also stolen from Boots in Fareham on May 19, worth £887.77.
The items stolen were worth a combined total of £23,386.30.
Dulea is due to appear at Basingstoke Magistrates Court today, September 26.
