A GARDEN centre in Andover has been spared from closure after the retailer announced plans to close a number of its stores.
Dobbies, in Salisbury Road, is a part of the chain's 60 shops around the country that will remain open.
The gardening company has announced the closure of 11 main centres and six Little Dobbies stores, as the shops remain 'unprofitable' according to the company.

The Andover store was bought by Dobbies in 2019 after Wyevale Garden Centres put all of its 145 garden centres up for sale, including the outlet on Salisbury Road.
The series of closures, which will see 17 stores shut their doors including branches in Reading, Gloucester and Stratford-upon-Avon, comes after the company's announcement of 'restructuring' in August.
The company's full list of stores facing closure are Altrincham, Antrim, Gloucester, Gosforth, Harlestone Heath, Huntingdon, Inverness, King's Lynn, Pennine, Reading and Stratford-upon-Avon.
Six Little Dobbies, described by the company as the 'houseplant haven in your neighbourhood' will shut.
The branches are located in Cheltenham, Chiswick, Clifton, Richmond, Stockbridge and Westbourne Grove.
The garden centre brand shared it's closing the stores in a bid to "address historically uneconomical rent costs and ensure a return to sustainable profitability".
