Rothsay Grange Care Home are celebrating their managing director's nomination for a prestigious award.
Natasha Lazovic has been shortlisted in the Executive Leader category of the Leaders in Care Awards 2024.
The awards recognise the achievements of UK care home providers and their suppliers.
The ceremony is scheduled for October 8 at the National Conference Centre in Birmingham.
Ms Lazovic began her career in the UK in 1994, training as a nurse after moving from Serbia.
She has progressed from a registered nurse to managing director, with experience in both the NHS and private sector.
Next, she joined Barchester in 2014 as a regional director, leading 10 homes.
This number doubled to 20 under her leadership as senior regional director, and she now oversees more than 80 care homes in the south division.
Ms Lazovic said: "I am very humbled to be nominated for this award, and I am very proud to be part of the shortlist, and to be representing Barchester as a finalist.
"It is an honour to be recognised for doing a job I love.
"I’ve just celebrated my 10-year anniversary with Barchester and those years have absolutely flown by, I’m looking forward to the next 10."
