A musician returned to mark a club's milestone concert.
Celebrating its 250th concert over 22 years, the White Hart Hotel welcomed back Nicholas Martin BEM, from Leicester, who performed the club's inaugural concert in July 2002.
Mr Martin had prepared a programme of over 40 pieces, though time constraints meant not all could be played.
The concert opened with the Radetzky March, Tritsch Tratsch Polka, and Intermezzo from Cavalleria Rusticana, followed by Congratulations, The Anniversary Waltz, and a medley concluding with The Winner Takes It All.
Angel in Blue, a tune significant to the club's formation, was next, followed by a pop selection including Sweet Caroline, You’re My World, and You’ll Never Walk Alone.
The first half concluded with Lehar’s Gold, Silver Waltz and the Warsaw Concerto.
After the interval, Mr Martin played a selection of French melodies, including Hymne à L’Amour, performed by Celine Dion at the closing ceremony of the recent Olympic Games.
He then played a selection of popular tunes such as March of the Toreadors, Somewhere in Time and Dances With Wolves, Lara’s Theme from Dr Zhivago, and Highland Cathedral.
The concert concluded with Elgar’s Pomp and Circumstance March No. 1, with the James Bond Theme as an encore.
In 2001, Mr Martin and his wife Marianne set up the charity Miracles To Believe In, supporting children with autism.
A collection at the end of his Andover concert raised just under £100 for the charity.
