An Andover drug driver who was nearly double the cocaine legal limit and more than four times the Benzoylecgonine limit while driving has been banned.
Bonnie Crawford, 33, of Jockey Way, pleaded guilty to driving a Suzuki Grand Vitara in Picket Twenty Way on February 13 when the proportion of cocaine in her blood was 17mg/L. The legal limit is 10mg/L.
She also had 217mg/L of Benzoylecgonine and 2.3mg/L of Delta-9-Tetrahydrocannabinol in her blood on the same day. The legal limit for each are 50mg/L and 2mg/L respectively.
Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court disqualified her for 17 months and ordered her to pay a fine of £200.
Crawford was also told to pay £40 costs and £80 surcharge.
