Andover Trees United is gearing up for its annual tree-planting initiative at Bury Hill Meadows.

In partnership with Test Valley Borough Council, this event will take place from November 11 to 29, aiming to make a significant contribution towards a greener future.

Schoolchildren from Andover will participate during school hours, planting trees and learning about environmental stewardship.

The initiative highlights the commitment of Andover Trees United and Test Valley Borough Council to sustainability and ecological education.

Abbey Sadler, the nature and community officer for Andover Trees United, said: "This is a chance for us all to invest in the future of our environment.

"By planting these trees, we are not only enhancing our local green spaces but also teaching the next generation the importance of caring for our planet."

Volunteers will assist students as they plant native species, contributing to the creation of a diverse and resilient woodland that will serve as a wildlife haven for years to come.
