AN inquest has opened into the death of an Andover man who was found dead in his bath.

Paul Streeter, 55, was discovered dead at his property on July 8. 

An inquest into his death was opened at Winchester Coroners' Court by assistant coroner Kiran Chahal.

Ms Chahal said that Mr Streeter was found by officers when they visited his address over concerns for his welfare. The inquest did not hear the exact address of Mr Streeter, with the coroner simply saying his property was in Andover.

The 55-year-old was discovered in his bath, surrounded by drug paraphernalia.

The initial cause of death has been given as multiple drug toxicity.

Ms Chahal adjourned the inquest to take place at Winchester Coroners' Court on September 1, 2025.
