The Andover Musical Theatre Company’s Starlights is bringing Matilda Jr. to the stage this autumn.
The performances are scheduled to run from October 31 to November 2 at The Wellington Academy theatre.
The talented cast, aged seven to 17, will deliver Roald Dahl's beloved story with music and lyrics by Tim Minchin.
The play has been specially tailored for a younger cast, making it an ideal introduction to the world of musical theatre.

Director Kenn MacDonald, the artistic director of Open Box Theatre, has more than two decades of experience with young performers.
The play will be brought to life by musical director Chip Philo, who has a background in education and theatre.
A Starlights spokesperson said: "Having worked on school productions Chip’s passion for helping young people discover their voices ensures that this will be an unforgettable experience for both cast and audience."
Both directors are enthusiastic about creating a memorable theatre experience with the Starlights cast.
The opening night falls on Halloween, and the Starlights are planning something extra special.
Audience members are invited to come in costume and share their Halloween selfies for a chance to win a £25 goodie bag in a competition sponsored by The Travelling Cupcake and Dotty Dot Balloons.
Tickets are priced at £12 and can be purchased online at andovermusicaltheatre.co.uk/matilda.
