A GARDEN centre in Andover is offering naughty and nice dogs a chance to meet Santa Claus this Christmas.

Dobbies Garden Centre is promising residents a festive Santa's Grotto experience for them and their pooch, regardless of their behaviour this year.

Dogs can meet and pose for a picture with Father Christmas himself, with the moment captured by a professional photographer in addition to receiving a toy tailored to their size.

The garden centre has patterned with dog welfare charity, Dogs Trust, to give all pooches a fun-filled 'Santa Paws' experience.

Owners can donate to the trust when purchasing their tickets to support the charity's work in ensuring that every dog has a loving home for the holiday as well as the rest of the year.

Ayesha Nickson, events programme manager at Dobbies, said: "Our beloved Santa Paws experience offers a truly magical moment for dog lovers and their furry companions this Christmas.

It has gained immense popularity in recent years, often selling out and we are delighted to be bringing it to our Andover store to provide a memorable experience for everyone.

"Partnering with Dogs Trust allows us to lend our support to an important cause that’s very close to our hearts. So, come join us for a fun festive adventure and create lasting memories with your four-legged best friend."

The experience will run from Thursday, December 5 to Tuesday, December 24 on selected dates.

Costing £9.99 per dog, the event will include a meet and greet with Santa and a toy, with added costs for a photographer to capture the moment.
