This weekend, people across the borough will pay their respects to the fallen to mark Remembrance Day.

Many services and parades are taking place on Sunday, November 10, as it is the closest to Armistice Day on Monday, November 11. 

Events will be held in Andover, Ludgershall and Stockbridge.

Take a look at the list below. 

Andover 

A parade and service will be held in Andover on Sunday, November 10. 

Beginning at Bridge Street, the parade will move towards Winchester Street, onto Eastern Avenue and end at St Mary's Church.

An indoor service will be held at 10am in the church, led by Reverand Sam Waako before a service in the Garden of Remembrance at 10.45am.

Some roads and car parks will be closed or inaccessible on Sunday morning due to the service.

Bridge Street is expected to be closed from 9.45am until 10.45am. 

The following roads will be closed for 30 minutes from 10.15am: Winchester Street, South Street, Eastern Avenue, East Street, Newbury Street, Church Close. 

The road closures will be put back in place following the service from 11.30am until 12pm, where the dignitaries will travel to Eastern Avenue to salute the return parade.

Ludgershall

Ludgersall will commemorate Remembrance Day on Sunday, November 10. 

At 9.45am, solders from 26 Engineer Regiment will march over the bridge and parage at the War Memorial. 

A service will then be held at St James church at 10am, followed by a Remembrance Service and laying of wreaths at the War Memorial. 

Stockbridge 

There will be a service at St Peter's at 9.45am on Sunday, November 10. 

This will be followed by a parade to the War Memorial to mark respect at 11am. 

A short, rolling road closure will be in place from 10.40am until 11.10am on A30 High Street.
