An annual Halloween event encouraged residents to eat their pumpkins rather than waste them.
Rooting for Andover's event on Saturday, November 2, in the Poppy Community Garden, was part of a national campaign by Hubbub to 'Eat Your Pumpkin'.
It aimed to reduce waste by suggesting alternative uses for pumpkins beyond carving.
Children participated in pumpkin decorating sessions at the Augusta Park Community Centre, with prizes for the best designs.

Entrants were then encouraged to take their pumpkins home, peel them and turn them into edible creations.
Pumpkin-based recipes were available for visitors to sample, including cakes and pies.
The community garden's resident witch, Grotty Bags, joined in the fun, trick-or-treating with the children.
The event also featured a fancy dress competition and storytelling by Amanda from Merry Go Round Storytelling.
Rooting for Andover is encouraging residents with leftover pumpkins to bring them to the community garden for composting.
A 'pumpkin graveyard' has been set up within the raised bed area for this purpose.
The pumpkins will be left to rot down, enriching the soil for next year’s vegetable plants.
