ANDOVER motorists will have eight road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.
And four of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

• A303, from 8pm September 17 to 6am November 30, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A31 both directions Ashley Heath to M27, junction 1, carriageway closures for maintenance work.
And a further nine closures will begin over the next two weeks:
• A303, from 8pm November 11 to 6am November 12, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 eastbound, Barton Stacey to Bullington, Lane closure for maintenance works.
• A303, from 9pm November 13 to 6am November 16, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 westbound, Barton Stacey, slip road and lane closures for resurfacing work.
• A303, from 8pm November 15 to 6am November 16, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A303 eastbound, Parkhouse to Hundred Acre, carriageway closure for maintenance work.
• A303, from 8pm November 18 to 6am November 23, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A303 eastbound, Picket Twenty to Bullington, carriageway closure for resurfacing work.
• A34, from 9pm November 18 to 6am November 19, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A34 northbound, Bullington, slip road and lane closure for maintenance work.
• A303, from 9pm November 25 to 6am November 26, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 eastbound, Parkhouse to Thruxton, Lane closure for technology work.
• A303, from 9.30pm November 25 to 6am November 26, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 eastbound, Bullington, slip road and lane closure for maintenance work.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule
