Three talented musicians from Andover are celebrating scooping four awards at the British Horror Film Festival in London last week.
The trio, Chris Baker, Matt Fitch and Marc Burford were applauded for their musical success in the film, 'Back Mask' which was made at Penton Park House in Andover.
Directed and written by Chris and Matt, the film scored four accolades at the ceremony at the British Museum, for 'Best Short Film' 'Best Cinematography' and 'Best Supporting Actor' while local musician and music composer, Marc Burford won "Best Music" for composing "Sarah's Song"
Marc said he couldn't believe it when the winners were announced: "I was truly shocked! I composed a song called "Sarah's Song" for the main character, Billy Chapman.
"Billy writes it during the film, and it’s meant to sound a bit mediocre and generic—not his finest work—which was an unusual mindset while creating it, and made a surprise win for me."
