Residents at an Andover care home commemorated Remembrance Day by wearing poppies and laying a wreath.
Rothsay Grange Care Home, in Weyhill Road, joined the nation in observing a two-minute silence at 11am on Sunday, November 10.
The residents also watched the televised service from The Cenotaph and laid a poppy wreath at the Cenotaph at St Mary’s Church, in Andover.

Rusty, a resident at Rothsay Grange, said: "It is very important that we keep the memories of those who fought alive and that we also think about those involved in conflicts around the world today."
Seva Hashimova, general manager at Rothsay Grange Care Home, said: "We have many residents with personal ties to the military and many who have experienced conflict either at home or abroad so it was important to us to mark Remembrance Day and honour the contribution of everyone involved in the World Wars and in subsequent conflicts."

The home provides nursing care, residential care, and respite care.
