A man hiding in a bush was reported to have been acting suspiciously in Andover after he allegedly made inappropriate comments to a woman. 

Hampshire Police received information that a man was acting suspiciously and making inappropriate comments to a woman in her 50s, in Weyhill Road, near the Denning Mead junction, at 9.15pm on Saturday, November 9. 

Police said the woman took her phone out of her pocket and the man, who was on a bicycle, rode off. The man hid in a bush and made another inappropriate comment as the woman walked past, police said. 

The woman reported the incident to the police as soon as she got home. No injuries were reported but the woman felt scared and intimidated throughout the incident.

Officers have since been carrying out several enquiries and are appealing for any information.

The man is described as being aged between 25 and 30, 6ft tall, Asian, of slim build, with short dark hair and a dark moustache. He was wearing dark clothing and was riding a bicycle.
