The festive season started with a flourish at the Countess of Brecknock Hospice Christmas Craft Market.
The event, held on Saturday, November 16, has been hailed as its best yet, raising £4,500 so far, with more donations still coming in.
The market in Andover brought together the community in a celebration of creativity, generosity and holiday spirit.
Visitors enjoyed browsing 12 craft stalls, indulging in homemade cakes and refreshments and visiting Santa’s Grotto.

Highlights also included a Christmas raffle and popular hospice retail stall offering Christmas cards, unique gifts and decorations.
Michele Gard, charity director at Countess of Brecknock Hospice, said: "We are absolutely thrilled with the success of this year’s Christmas Craft Market.
"The generosity and enthusiasm of our local community never ceases to amaze me.
"Events like this not only raise vital funds for the hospice but also showcase the incredible support that helps us continue to provide compassionate care for our patients and their families.
"Thank you to everyone who made it possible."

The hospice extended their heartfelt thanks to everyone who came to support the market, stating that the community’s contributions make a real difference to the care and support the hospice can provide.
A special thank you was given to the hospice’s volunteers for their time, energy, and support on the stalls.
Andover Santa Cruises was thanked for inviting Santa along to the Grotto, while Simply Health was recognised for donating three stunning hampers for the raffle.
Go Fudge Yo’self was also acknowledged for its generous sweet treats hamper donation, and Russells Removals for its invaluable help with setting up the event.
Next year’s Christmas Craft Market will be held on November 15, 2025.
