The Memory Choir will be bringing festive cheer with a heartwarming performance of Christmas songs at a garden centre in Andover.
The performance is part of a series of late-night events at Dobbies Garden Centre to spread the joy of the festive season to the public.
The Memory Choir provides support to those whose lives are impacted by dementia, mental health and isolation, all challenges that affect physical and mental well-being.
Its founder, Kim Garner, said: "The Memory Choir offers a welcoming, safe and supportive environment for choir members. Music has been shown to reduce anxiety, improve mood and stimulate memory."

The choir meets weekly at Andover MIND and once a month at Millway Care Home. It is helped by dedicated volunteers who support members in engaging in music therapy.
Kim said: "It's an inclusive choir, and welcomes family, friends, carers and anyone who wishes to just be a part of this amazing choir to come along and be a member of a wonderful group of singers."
As well as founding the choir, Kim leads the ensemble and is a passionate advocate for dementia care and mental health.
She said: "The Memory Choir is a lifeline for many, and we’re thrilled to share our voices with the community at Dobbies Garden Centre this November. It’s a perfect way to celebrate this festive season while raising awareness of the importance of dementia care and mental health."
The Memory Choir has made an indelible mark on the local community, offering hope and connection to those who may otherwise feel isolated.
The event on November 21 at 4.30pm at Dobbies Garden Centre will provide an opportunity for everyone to come together in support of mental health awareness, celebrating both the season and the incredible work being done to support those living with dementia.
Kim would also like to express huge gratitude to her team of volunteers who support the choir.
