A MURDER investigation has been launched after a man was stabbed to death in Picket Twenty.

The incident happened at around 8.40pm on Friday, November 29, at an address in Arcaro Road, Picket Twenty.

A man in his 30s was stabbed. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two men have been arrested after police launched an investigation.

A 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder. He has since been released from custody without charge and will face no further action.

A 41-year-old man from Southampton has been arrested on suspicion of murder. He remains in custody at this time.

The investigation is ongoing and police are urging anyone with information to come forward.

A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said: "We have launched an investigation following the death of a man in Andover.

"Officers were called at 8.41pm on Friday 29 November to a report that a man in his 30's had been stabbed at an address on Arcaro Road.

"He was pronounced dead at the scene and his family has been informed. Specialist officers are supporting them at this time.

"Officers arrested two men as part of our enquiries. A 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder. He has since been released from custody without charge and will face no further action.

"A 41-year-old man from Southampton has been arrested on suspicion of murder. He remains in custody at this time.
