AMPORT resident Amanda Parnham (with Calvin and Dexter) said she lives in a thatched cottage so is particularly wary on bonfire night.
“People should be careful about where they set them off,” she said.
“I think it should be restricted to public displays, then you haven’t got people setting them off weeks in advance.”
Amanda added that she would be taking her sons to a public display for the first time this year.
