COLIN Thomas, who has recently moved to Bournemouth from Andover, is a last- minute shopper and imagines he’ll be rushing round the shops on Christmas Eve.

“I’ve got better things to do with my time than spend it in shops desperately hunting for an ideal present before that,” he said.

“I plan to be spending Christmas Day relaxing on the sofa after spending all day before shopping.”

Colin tends to do a lot of his shopping online as he finds it easier to spend less.
