PAUL Williams from Andover says he goes into Andover Woolies ‘every now and then’.

“I’m a bit of a window shopper but Christmas is when I go there the most – I used to go there for the ‘pick and mix’ when I was younger,” he said.

“It won’t really worry me if it shuts but it will be a shame for those people who will lose their jobs.

“Somebody else will come into the store – perhaps a clothing retailer.

“Primark would be brilliant.”
