“I THINK it is one of the best shops and the biggest in the town centre and I shop there quite a lot,” said Karen Henley from Andover.

“My mum always used to go there for my school shirts and other things and I have a bit of an emotional attachment to it.

“I’m definitely going to be sad to see it go.

“People do come in specially to shop in Woolworths.

“But people will find other places to spend their money – hopefully in Andover.”
