COUNCILLORS are due to discuss a full planning application to build more than 200 homes on land at Picket Twenty, on Thursday, 8 January.
Outline permission for 1,200 on the site was granted in January last year. This latest application represents the first phase of the Picket Twenty new community.
Members of Test Valley Borough Council’s northern area planning committee will be discussing details of appearance, landscaping, layout and scale.
Most of the proposed homes are two and two-and-a-half storeys, although at key locations – including the entrance to the site and around the entrance square – three storey homes are prevalent with one four-storey structure.
Officers are recommending approval subject to agreements on management and maintenance of public open spaces, and the receipt of satisfactory details and plans of landscaping, engineering and materials.
