IT may not feel very much like spring to human beings but a few bulbs on a bank along Andover’s Salisbury Road seem intent on putting a little sunshine into our lives.
Early daffodils are something you can expect in the west of Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly but not north Hampshire.
Whether these blooms are wise to poke their heads over the parapet is questionable as the Met Office is predicting that temperatures are likely to remain below average for late January and early February.
